Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how ProFindr (“ProFindr,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use profindr.com, search results, sponsored placements, business profiles, ProFindr Verified subscriptions, account tools, call features, lead forms, and related services.
Information we collect
Information you provide. We collect information you choose to submit, such as name, email address, phone number, business name, website, address, city, state, ZIP code, service category, profile description, hours, logos, photos, messages, callback requests, account information, support requests, and subscription information.
Search, usage, and device information. We collect information about how the service is used, including search queries, pages viewed, result impressions, result clicks, call-button clicks, lead-form interactions, referring pages, UTM parameters, approximate location, browser and device details, IP address, user agent, cookie identifiers, session identifiers, timestamps, and similar diagnostic or analytics data.
Location information. We may infer approximate city or state from technical signals such as IP address or hosting headers. If you choose to use browser precise-location features, your browser may share latitude and longitude so we can return a local result or reverse-geocode the location.
Payment information. Paid subscriptions and billing portals are processed by payment processors such as Stripe. We receive payment-related records such as customer ID, subscription ID, plan, billing status, and limited payment metadata. We do not store full card numbers.
Cookies and tracking technologies
We use cookies, local storage, session storage, and similar technologies to operate the site, remember visitor and session identifiers, support search/refinement behavior, store approximate location choices, measure performance, prevent abuse, attribute advertising, and improve results.
Examples may include ProFindr visitor/session cookies, search-sequence cookies, geo cookies, advertising click identifiers, Meta/Facebook identifiers, and tags deployed through tools such as Google Tag Manager. Your browser may let you block or delete cookies, but some features may not work correctly.
How we use information
We use information to provide and improve search results, operate sponsored placements and call features, publish and manage business profiles, process Verified subscriptions, authenticate account access, route consumer messages and callback requests, detect fraud or abuse, measure ad and search performance, attribute conversions, troubleshoot issues, communicate with users and businesses, enforce our terms, comply with law, and protect ProFindr and our users.
How we disclose information
Businesses and advertisers. If you contact a business, submit a lead form, request a callback, or click a call feature, we may share the information needed to respond to your request with the relevant business, advertiser, call partner, or service provider.
Service providers. We use vendors and infrastructure providers to host the site, store data, authenticate users, process payments, send emails, analyze performance, measure advertising, provide maps or geocoding, and operate related services. These providers may include Supabase, Vercel, Stripe, Google, Meta/Facebook, email providers, mapping/geocoding providers, analytics tools, and advertising or attribution partners.
Advertising and attribution partners. We may disclose event, click, conversion, device, browser, referral, and advertising identifier information to ad networks, affiliate or sponsored-content partners, call/lead partners, and measurement providers so we can attribute campaigns, optimize advertising, and compensate partners.
Legal, safety, and business purposes. We may disclose information if we believe it is necessary to comply with law, respond to legal process, enforce our terms, prevent fraud or abuse, protect rights and safety, investigate security issues, or complete a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or transfer of assets.
Business profiles and public information
Information submitted for a business profile, including business name, service areas, phone number, website, address or location, hours, descriptions, logos, photos, badges, and similar profile content, may be displayed publicly in ProFindr search results and profile pages. Do not submit private information to a public profile field.
Data retention
We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to operate ProFindr, provide accounts and subscriptions, maintain business records, measure performance, prevent fraud or abuse, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary depending on the type of information and why it was collected.
Your choices and privacy rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of certain personal information by contacting us. Business account owners can update many profile details through account tools. You can opt out of some browser-based tracking by changing browser settings, blocking cookies, or using device/platform privacy controls.
Residents of certain states, including California, may have rights to know, access, delete, correct, or opt out of certain sales, sharing, or targeted advertising uses of personal information. To make a privacy request or opt out, use our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page, visit our contact page, or email support@profindr.com.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights. We may need to verify your request before acting on it.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No website, database, transmission, or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

ProFindr is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
Third-party links and services
ProFindr may link to or integrate with third-party websites, advertisers, businesses, payment processors, mapping providers, analytics providers, and other services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this Privacy Policy.
